Motivation..

My husband is home! :) He arrived at the airport last night, a few minutes before 8. It's so great to have him home, I missed him terribly. Tristan was so cute, he just kept staring at him, like he was taking it all in. He was only away a week and a half, so it wasn't too bad..

I have been slacking on my goals, so I'm going to start changing that, starting tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a busy day of cleaning, laundry, and going on a date with Clint that night. However, between the busy time, I'm going to make a list of meals and snacks to eat, to try to lose some more weight. I have been exercising, but when Clint was gone, my eating habits slacked a bit. I just don't like feeling blah-ish! I can fit in my dress clothes better, which is great, considering their a size 8. My jeans were fitting better, but not in a couple of days, ah! However, I do want to fit in my size 6 jeans, but that will take some hard work. It was easier being skinny in college, eating for one, and working out more, and walking all over campus, but I can do it! I would like to get to my ideal size in-between pregnancies, so when I'm finished with having children, it'll be easier to get off the weight..

I've been reading health magazines to get ideas for exercises and meals. I do have a couple exercise videos that I'm going to try out and I'm going to use the Wii fit too and when it gets warmer, I'm going to go on more walks. I'm doing this for myself and for Clint. The hardest thing would be to gradually cut back on dr.pepper/coke. I have only one a day usually, but I'm going to do every other day, until I get down to maybe two a week at most..

Today was a fun day, we went shopping after we went out to lunch. We got Tristan a lot of fun toys and some summer clothes, with his birthday money. He's been enjoying the toys. I still can't believe how quickly the first year went by. A year of a lot of learning with so many different things, it's been great. God has truly blessed us!

Currently..

Well, I do believe that Tristan's party was a success. I thought so much about making sure I had the most important things, that some things were forgotten. Ha, the last 30 minutes, Tristan had to eat his first cupcake, we had to judge the contest, and open presents. It was kind of crazy. Ha, I felt like I was yelling a lot. I'm not a loud talker, so you just about have to yell when there are that many people around. There was a good turnout for his party and he got a lot of nice things. Clint and I are looking forward to going shopping with his giftcard and birthday money, to find him some cool toys and clothes and such. :) We love buying things for him!

Clint is in Uganda. He left last Monday and will be back Wednesday night, it was kind of a short trip considering how long it takes to get there. It seems like he's been over there longer than he has. It's hard when I'm use to seeing him so often, to not seeing him for that long with very little communication. I had been doing fine, but I had a rough morning, until I got an email from him. I miss him so much! I'm looking forward to his return. I don't know how military wives do it. I would go crazy! If you would like to know the reason he's over there, try: http://www.safewaternexus.org/

I'm excited that the Shopaholic movie is coming out this weekend. I've read three books of the series, even though the movie is different than the book, the book is based in London, which I would love more, but the American version will be fun too. I want to see "Coraline" as well. I'm waiting until Clint gets back to see it, since we both read the book. I'm not sure if I want to see "He's just not that into you" or not. I think it might be fun, but kind of depressing. It's so great to be married and not dating again, that was such a pain, learning the hard way that, that guy isn't the right one..

I know too many pregnant ladies. I've had two dreams I was pregnant, and it's making me paranoid, haha. I told my mom about that and she mentioned she had dreams like that too and after her hysterectomy. So, who knows..

Well, I better go do some exercises before bed. Have a great week!
